Just got back from an epic trip to South Africa. Life-changing is an understatement. The wildlife is extraordinary. The people are just lovely. Definitely a trip I would encourage everyone to take at some point in their lifetime. These are a few of my favorite pics… and yes, the lion is just snoozing in the sun 🙂

As this year’s Conference Chair, I want to personally encourage you to register today for the 25th Annual AVMLA Continuing Education Seminar, to be held July 14-15, 2018 in beautiful Denver, CO. This year’s educational focus will be, The Practice of Veterinary Medicine in the 21st Century.

This two-day conference brings together 17 of the most well respected, top professionals in the veterinary legal and medical field. Our speakers will focus on how the practice of veterinary medicine has changed over the past 18 years.

Pet owners consider pets to be companions and family members. Yet they are still property under the law. The practice of veterinary medicine may require a relationship between doctor and client. The advent of tele-medicine is stretching that definition. The Human Animal bond is no longer just a thought or feeling. There is real science behind how our pets make us feel and change our lives.

These and several other must know legal and legislative updates will be covered in this two-day conference. Do not miss it. You will enjoy participating in these lecture and panel discussion programs. I look forward to seeing you in Denver on July 14-15, 2018. Be sure to let me know that you’re coming so that we can get together at the event.

You can get the details about this event right here:
